Recent Adventures

Hello there everyone. It has been a couple of weeks since I have been able to post. Sorry for this and I will try to get this updated more often but it has been a whirlwind of activity around our family. Since the last post we have had lots going on in the Stewart family. We got back from getting half the kids and then turned around and let them loose again.Three of the kids and Left on the 12th for Kidz Camp at Sky Ranch,Oklahoma. What a awesome time we had there. There were tons of fun activities, such as a 2000 foot zip line and the blob, as well as the great word of God being spoken each and every day. I enjoyed the boys I was counselor for and the whole experience. We returned from camp on the 15th. By the way the 3 kids that did not go to camp spent the days at grandma's house so they were not feeling too left out. We left again on the 16th right before midnight to head for Nebraska. We arrived at grandma Patty's house to drop the kids for a few days for 1st Cousins week. While the kids were having fun with Grandma and the cousins Crystal and I traveled to the Black Hills of South Dakota. While there we saw the fascinating sculpture at Mt Rushmore as well as tournig a cavern and driving through Bear Country USA. It was a good time of relaxation. We picked up the kids and headed back home getting back in the early hours of the 22nd. Since then we have had meetings, appointments, house cleaning and regular routine things to keep us moving. Last night took kids to drive-in to see G-Force and enjoyed the outing. This week starting out with today being Crystals birthday. She is out getting a run in. We are running in a quarter marathon saturday. More appointments today and starting to wind the summer down. Apologies for the length of post but will get better or regular posts.

Sherwood/Jacksonville Fun

Had a great day in central arkansas. Started the day having breakfast with some cousins in town visiting from Utah, and my grandmother. We had a wonderful visit with them as well as a breakfast filled with plenty of choices at Golden Corral. After breakfast we went to Splash Zone and played in the water with my sister and nephews. Great water park and the kids had a great time. Stopped for some Sonic for lunch afterwards then back to moms to relax for the rest of the evening. Heard great news about our friend Mark Darr who is running for Lt. Governor of Arkansas. Looking forward to tomorrow when 3 of our kids rejoin the family.

July 9th 2009

Another great day in the Stewart household. Wife and I each got a 3 plus mile run in. Getting ready to run in a quarter marathon on August 1st. Had a few deliveries for Quiznos. Daughter had a dental appointment today, it went well. We then proceeded to travel down to Sherwood. We are going to spend a couple of days here so we can pick up the other half of our clan on Saturday. Enjoyed Little Caesar's pizza for supper and now wrapping up the day visiting with Mom and Dad. All in all a blessed day.

July 8th

Well other than the special numerical significance that took place today, (12:34:56 7/8/9), this was a pretty ordinary day. I had a couple of deliveries for Quiznos. I had to go get some repaired glasses for my son. We then took the kids to enjoy the newest dessert craze in NW Arkansas, som Frozen Tung. Kids and I enjoyed while wife sipped on a route 44 Diet Dr Pepper. We came back home and relaxed and made plans to pick up the other half of our clan on Saturday. Nana came over and took the kids off our hands for a short while so I took my lovely bride to Cancun for a wonderful dinner and awesome company. Back at home calling it a day, we are thankful for the blessing God has provided us with today.
